FSC CrossFit first opened its doors for business on February 3rd, 2014. At the time the business had 4 coaches including the former owner, Scott Ramage, and it’s membership was comprised of friends and family. From those humble beginnings, FSC has undergone a change in ownership with coach Gil Brown and his wife purchasing the gym in June of 2015, a steady increase in membership, additional purchases of gym equipment, and an unwavering commitment to the Roseburg community.
FSC donates both time and money to local causes, attends school functions and coaches CrossFit classes at local schools, hosts an annual benefit called The Barbells and Burpees Challenge with proceeds from sponsors and shirt sales going to the Treva Hoffman Foundation (http://www.thethf.com/), and has an awesome turnout of athletes who come together to participate in obstacle races (Tough Mudder, Dirty Dash, Spartan) and courses.
Through it’s internal and external communities, FSC CrossFit isn’t just a gym, and we don’t just workout, we build lasting relationships with individuals from all walks of life who have decided to come together and live fitter, healthier lives; all while having fun and creating everlasting memories.
